Neville Hicks
Neville Hicks, CFA
Mr. Hicks, a partner at Rockwater Capital, brings over 18 years of investment banking and asset management experience, with a focus on catering to ultra-high net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional clients within the offshore market.
Prior to establishing Rockwater Capital, Mr. Hicks served as Director, Client Relations for one of the largest independent asset managers in the Cayman Islands, where his responsibilities encompassed the development of investment strategies across diverse asset classes including equities, fixed income, private debt, private equity, real estate, hedge funds and special opportunities. In addition to these roles, he was responsible for client asset allocation, client relations and business development for the firm.
In 2010, Mr. Hicks relocated to the Cayman Islands to work with Scotiabank & Trust Cayman Ltd. overseeing the credit and loan syndication for Scotiabank’s offshore lending book.
Holding a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a Major in Finance from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada, Mr. Hicks is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder.

Connor Wyatt
Connor Wyatt, CPA, CFA
As an Analyst here at Rockwater Capital, Connor brings a wealth of experience in the financial services sector, specializing in asset management and analysis for both individuals and institutional clients.
Before joining our team, Connor served as an Underwriter at a public Reinsurance company in the Cayman Islands. In this role, he expertly navigated financial risks, underwriting areas such as trade credit, mortgage, surety, and transactional liability across diverse industries.
Connor's journey also includes a significant stint with PwC in Canada and the Cayman Islands, where he provided assurance and advisory services to financial institutions, investment funds, and insurance companies.
Holding a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) Degree from the University of Manitoba with a Major in Finance, Connor is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) of Canada and proudly holds the title of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder. His diverse background and expertise make him a valuable addition to the Rockwater Capital team.

Nathan Smith
Nathan Smith, CPA, TEP
Mr. Smith brings an extensive background in leadership encompassing operations, fund management, financial analysis, and strategic consulting across multiple industries.
His prior roles include serving as the CFO and investment committee member of a prominent family office. Mr. Smith holds board positions in numerous portfolio companies, both public and private, with a focus on real estate, technology, and financial sectors. Moreover, he successfully manages a real estate development venture, specializing in residential and multi-use sites within the Cayman Islands and mid-western United States.
Mr. Smith held the position of Director at a private fiduciary company, providing governance and non-executive directorship, and trustee services to alternative investment funds and portfolio companies with a combined net asset value exceeding $5 Billion.
He holds licenses as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New Jersey, and has earned the TEP designation from the Society of Trust and Estate Professionals. He furthered his education by obtaining an M.B.A. in Finance and a B.S.B.A. in Accounting.
