Leadership
Rockwater Capital's Founder
Nathan Smith
CPA, TEP
Mr. Smith brings an extensive background in leadership encompassing operations, fund management, financial analysis, and strategic consulting across multiple industries.
His prior roles include serving as the CFO and investment committee member of a prominent family office. Mr. Smith holds board positions in numerous portfolio companies, both public and private, with a focus on real estate, technology, and financial sectors. Moreover, he successfully manages a real estate development venture, specialising in residential and multi-use sites within the Cayman Islands and mid-western United States.
Mr. Smith held the position of Director at a private fiduciary company, providing governance and non-executive directorship, and trustee services to alternative investment funds and portfolio companies with a combined net asset value exceeding $5 Billion.
He holds licenses as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New Jersey, and has earned the TEP designation from the Society of Trust and Estate Professionals. He furthered his education by obtaining an M.B.A. in Finance and a B.S.B.A. in Accounting.
